Once you have become comfortable in your discipline of attitude and have at least somewhat mastered the art of receptivity, which can in one way describe attitudes "true north", you will begin to become more aware of your feelings. You see, what i'm sure many of you have already realized via the practice of meditation (which is inarguably a perfect description for the discipline of attitude), is that true knowledge and recognition can only come through silence. Not just physical silence, but the silence of the mind as well.
So, what are feelings?
If attitude was the question to the encompassing mind, then feelings are the answer, and for every new level of mastery you gain in attitude, you are gifted with recognition that is closer still to your highest purpose, and like attitude, feelings too have a polarity. You might consider excitement to be your compass north and boredom to be your south. North leading to the path you most desire.
So picture it like one big illustrated analogy. You’re sitting in an “empty space” surrounded by darkness, but quietly and humbly you realize you could not recognize darkness without there being some form of light, and in this quiet space you FEEL the light speak! But it does not speak in a familiar language. It speaks in frequency and vibration! So you learn its language and immerse yourself in each feeling’s meaning. Each meditation bringing more and more knowledge to the fold that LIGHTS the path home!
